Lazio Regional Order of Journalists
The Lazio Regional Order of Journalists (Ordine dei Giornalisti del Lazio) was one of the councils founded in 1963 under Italy’s National Council of the Order of Journalists (Ordine dei Giornalisti Consiglio Nazionale), the country’s national governing body for journalist licensing responsible also for the mandatory training of journalists, freelancers, and other media workers. More than 18,000 media workers completed training in 2025, according to the latest annual meeting of the national group. In the meeting, it also looked at an overview of disciplinary incidents in the workplace in the region.
