Primorske novice is a regional daily newspaper based in Koper, Slovenia, covering the country’s coastal Primorska region. It was formed through the merger of two regional papers. It publishes separate editions for the coastal Koper area and the northern Nova Gorica area, with editorial offices in both cities. Eurotopics notes that the paper describes itself as independent. The shipping company Splošna Plovba later sold its majority stake in the publisher to three companies: Svet24, Salomon and Curator Nova. In May 2026, Primorske novice journalist Jan Klokočovnik took part in a China-CEE media roundtable in Dunhuang hosted by the All-China Journalists Association (中華全國新聞工作者協會).
