Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Italy

The Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Italy (義大利中國商會) is a Milan-based association representing Chinese companies operating in Italy. It describes itself as a “non-profit, non-governmental organization.” Originally opened in 2008 as the “Italian Association of Chinese Enterprises,” it was officially renamed in 2021. According to its website, the chamber is “approved” (批准) by Italy’s Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy — the government body responsible for industrial and business policies — and supported by the PRC’s Ministry of Commerce. Chinese state broadcaster CGTN described it as the only recognized organization representing Chinese enterprises in Italy, with more than 120 members.
