The Ayuntamiento de Gálvez (加爾維斯市政府) is the municipal government of Gálvez, a town in Spain’s Toledo province in the Castile-La Mancha region. As of October 2026, the council was led by Manuel Guillermo Fernández Lázaro-Carrasco of the conservative People’s Party (人民黨). He won reelection in May 2023 after 28 years as mayor. On October 6, 2026, Fernández took part in a roundtable on local cooperation with China in Madrid. The roundtable was part of an event to promote the Spanish edition of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China, Volume V (習近平談治國理政第五卷西文版), guided by China International Communications Group (中國外文局), an institution managed by the CCP’s Central Propaganda Department.
