EurAsia Info (歐亞時報社) is a Swiss-based online platform founded in early 2012 by Zhu Ailian (朱愛蓮) and headquartered in Zurich. Based on the visual layout of its website, it appears to be a news aggregation platform focused on European news for Chinese-speaking audiences. The navigation bar includes sections for different European countries (Switzerland, Germany, France, UK, etc.) and links to various international news sources, both in Chinese and other languages, including Swiss Info, DW, RFI, and BBC News. Operating from Bahnhofstrasse 100, the website is described as “Europe’s first Chinese-English bilingual magazine and newspaper” by the People’s Daily Overseas Edition (人民日報海外版). The organization aims to “tell China’s story well” (讲好中国故事), echoing Chinese Communist Party policy on external propaganda — with Zhu stating her mission is to be a “messenger between China and Europe” and to “pass China’s good stories and good content to the local mainstream society.” This language closely aligns with Beijing’s directive that Chinese media must work internationally to strengthen and innovate external propaganda. The organization’s “About Us” page furthers this alignment, stating that the outlet “closely aligns with the Belt and Road Initiative” and aims to “showcase China to the world.”  This mission is reflected in the organization’s extensive partnerships. In the 2017 version of its website, there are numerous “media partners” (合作媒体), including major Chinese state media outlets such as People’s Daily Overseas Edition (人民日报海外版), China News Service (中新网), People’s Daily (人民日报社), Xinhua News Agency (新华社), China Daily (中国日报网), as well as China Central Television (中央电视台). The platform has offices in Germany, Italy, Austria and France, as well as Beijing, Dalian, and Shenzhen.

Council of Ministers of Poland

Poland’s Council of Ministers (Rada Ministrów) is the country’s central executive body, established under the current constitutional framework in 1997 and headquartered in Warsaw, consisting of 27 ministries led by a Prime Minister who also holds the formal title of President of the Council of Ministers. The cabinet operates under a parliamentary system where the Prime Minister is nominated by Poland’s President and proposes the cabinet composition, which requires presidential approval while being constrained by Sejm majority requirements. According to constitutional procedures, newly appointed cabinets have fourteen days to present their agenda and secure a confidence vote from the Sejm, Poland’s lower house of Parliament. The current government is the Third Cabinet of Donald Tusk, which like all Polish cabinets since the constitutional reforms has successfully obtained the required parliamentary confidence vote.

Chinese Academy of Sciences

The Chinese Academy of Sciences (中國科學院) is China’s national academy for natural sciences and the government’s highest scientific consultancy body. Founded with historical origins in the Republican-era Academia Sinica, CAS operates as “the world’s largest research organization” with 106 research institutes, two universities, and over 150,000 employees and students. The academy describes itself as “the linchpin of China’s drive to explore and harness high technology and the natural sciences for the benefit of China and the world,” though it functions primarily as a state-directed scientific apparatus advancing government priorities. CAS played crucial roles in China’s nuclear weapons program and computing development, while today co-organizing major government initiatives like the World Artificial Intelligence Conference alongside multiple Chinese ministries.

Lao National Television

Lao National Television (ລາວ ໂທລະພາບແຫ່ງຊາດລາວ) is a state television broadcaster under the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism of Laos. The station began broadcasting in 1983 and manages two national channels, LNTV1 and LNTV3, plus several regional outlets. The broadcaster has relied on significant foreign support, including support from Vietnam Television, which enabled the launch of Vietnamese-language news programming in September 2015. More significantly, the Chinese government funded LNTV Channel 3’s transition to high-definition broadcasting, completed in September 2019. Official statements framed the upgrade as “an important contribution to enhancing cooperation between Laos and China.”

Published by the Chinese News and Media Group (1688传媒集团), the newspaper is part of a comprehensive media portfolio that includes traditional publications, property magazines, and digital platforms. As a free publication, it provides advertisers with direct access to Melbourne’s growing Chinese community while offering readers local and international news, community information, and cultural content in Chinese language. The Chinese Melbourne Daily operates within an integrated media ecosystem that includes sister publications like the Daily Chinese Herald (澳洲日報) and digital outlets such as 1688.com.au.

Free State of Bavaria

The Free State of Bavaria (Freistaat Bayern) is Germany’s largest federal state by area and a constituent state of the Federal Republic of Germany, which it joined in 1949. Bavaria’s Constitution, adopted on October 26, 1946, and coming into effect on December 8, 1946, establishes it as a democratic, cultural, and social state governed by the rule of law. The state is headed by a Minister-President elected by the Landtag. Bavaria’s parliamentary system centers on the Landtag, one of Europe’s oldest parliaments with roots dating to 1818. The current Landtag comprises 203 representatives from five parties elected through mixed-member proportional representation. At the federal level, Bavaria holds six votes in the Bundesrat (Federal Council) and elects representatives to the Bundestag, Germany’s federal parliament, alongside other German states.

Belt and Road Media Forum Held in Yangjiang

China Media Group (中央廣播電視總台) convened nearly 300 media representatives from 20 countries in Yangjiang (陽江), Guangdong Province, on December 7 for the 2025 Silk Road Television Community Summit Forum (絲綢之路電視共同體高峰論壇). Guangdong Provincial Party Secretary Huang Kunming (黃坤明) attended the opening ceremony alongside CMG Director and Central Propaganda Department Deputy Head Shen Haixiong (慎海雄), who delivered the keynote address. The state broadcaster used the event to advance media cooperation with countries participating in China’s Belt and Road Initiative (一帶一路) — Beijing’s infrastructure and development program spanning Asia, Africa, and Europe — hosting panels on AI-generated content and international sports broadcasting rights. Participants toured local manufacturing facilities and cultural heritage sites, including the Southern Song dynasty shipwreck “Nanhai No. 1” (南海一號), an 800-year-old merchant vessel salvaged in 2007 that authorities present as historical evidence legitimizing the modern Belt and Road Initiative. The forum released an “International Media Cooperation Yangjiang Initiative” (國際媒體合作陽江倡議) and annual work report for the Silk Road Television Community (絲綢之路電視共同體), a China Media Group-led international broadcasting alliance established in 2016 that now encompasses 149 media institutions from 64 countries. CMG announced new content distribution projects including CGTN Spanish channel broadcasts targeting Latin America. Yangjiang Mayor Yu Jinfu (余金富) delivered remarks in English promoting the coastal city’s role in historical maritime trade routes.

Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union

The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (亞洲-太平洋廣播聯盟), or ABU, is a professional association of broadcasters established in 1964 and headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The union encompasses 224 member organizations across 66 countries, according to its “About Us” page, which says this makes it demographically and geographically the world’s largest broadcasting union, serving over half the global population. ABU operates content-sharing platforms including the Asiavision News Exchange and provides technical consultancy to members. Secretary General Ahmad Nadeem participated in China Media Group’s December 2025 Silk Road Television Community Summit in Yangjiang, where he delivered remarks via video. The organization’s membership includes both public service and commercial broadcasters from democratic and authoritarian states, providing a platform where state-controlled media entities interact with independent broadcasters under the framework of professional cooperation.

Media Council of Kenya

The Media Council of Kenya (MCK) is an independent national institution established by the Media Council Act of 2013 to set and enforce media standards as mandated by Article 34(5) of Kenya’s Constitution. The council accredits journalists and media establishments, handles public complaints, and publishes annual media freedom audits. Operating under a co-regulation model, MCK receives government funding while levying fees on media houses and individual journalists. The council has gone on the record defending journalists against undue government criticism and intervention. In December 2025, MCK publicly condemned former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for targeting Citizen TV journalist Stephen Letoo, calling the attacks “reckless, dangerous, and unacceptable” threats to constitutional press freedoms. Chairman Joseph Maina Mururi participated in China Media Group’s December 2025 Silk Road Television Community Summit in Yangjiang.
