Sogang University (서강대학교) is a private Jesuit research university founded in 1960, the only Jesuit institution of higher education in South Korea. The university offers programs across 27 departments in humanities, social sciences, business, communication, and engineering. It maintains active partnerships with Chinese institutions, including the China-Korea LEADership Exchange Program, an academic exchange programme in partnership with Fudan University. Chae Jung Hwa (채정화), a researcher at the ICT Law and Economics Institute, attended a symposium on China-South Korea media content exchange, organized by the Communication University of China, on January 10, 2026.
