Lao Future Media Co. was founded in Vientiane in 2012. The company offers Lao news to Chinese and Lao business clients via paper publications and internet platforms. It is dedicated to developing a media information platform for Chinese and Chinese businessmen in Laos. The company utilizes various online platforms, such as the Lao Information Network official WeChat account, official Facebook, and Weibo accounts. The company claims it has become “Laos’ most influential Chinese-language media” and partners with Lao state television, Lao Economic Daily (老撾經濟日報), Vientiane Times (萬象時報), and Chinese state media including People’s Daily Online and China News Service. On November 9, 2023, Lao-China Enterprise Services Company acquired Laos Info Network from Laos Future Media Company, with Samanoh Bensena as board chairman, Savang Bensena as general manager, and Long Pan (龍攀) as Laos Future Media’s chairman attending the signing ceremony. Zhou Zeyu (周澤宇) was nominated as the network’s general manager.
