Platform News (平台新聞), also known as Platform News, is an Egyptian digital media outlet that advertises itself as “a progressive platform and independent website offering investigative stories, in-depth economic & political analysis, and social & cultural features.” According to its description on Facebook, the outlet provides “firsthand, unbiased news reporting from inside Egypt.” It has published Chinese diplomatic communications, including the publication of signed articles by Chinese officials such as Consul General Zhao Liying (趙麗瑩).
