According to plans outlined in the related release from the Baoshan city propaganda office, youth representatives will “tell Baoshan’s story well” (讲好保山故事) internationally while fostering “people-to-people connectivity” (民心相通) — standard PRC diplomatic terminology suggesting efforts at state narrative projection within the frame of cultural exchange.

The organizations claimed the visit would “comprehensively promote and report on new achievements of Chinese-style modernization practice in Gansu” and explore cooperation to jointly tell “Silk Road stories” and “China-Belarus friendship stories” (中白友好故事) within “all-weather and all-round Belarus-China strategic partnership” frameworks.
