Taiwan Affairs Office of the Guangzhou People’s Government

The Taiwan Affairs Office of the Guangzhou People’s Government (廣州市人民政府台灣事務辦公室) is the municipal implementation of CCP Taiwan policy in Guangzhou, operating under the “one institution, two names” system as the Taiwan Work Office of the CCP Guangzhou Municipal Committee (中共廣州市委台灣工作辦公室). The office implements central and provincial directives at the local level, coordinating cross-strait economic cooperation, cultural exchanges, and Taiwan business affairs in Guangzhou and its districts. It administers the “Guangzhou 60 Measures” (廣州60條惠及台胞措施), a policy framework targeting Taiwanese residents and businesses with incentives and preferential treatment, and facilitates integration of Taiwan enterprises into the Greater Bay Area (GBA), the official name for the planned multi-city development area encompassing Guangdong’s Pearl River Delta, Hong Kong and Macau. The office reports to both the municipal Party committee and the provincial TAO.

Lietuvos Rytas

Lietuvos Rytas is Lithuania’s largest daily newspaper by circulation and readership, established January 1, 1990, replacing the Soviet-era publication Komjaunimo Tiesa (Youth Truth). The name translates to “Morning of Lithuania.” Headquartered in Vilnius, the newspaper claims to serve as Lithuania’s leading source of national and international news, with a circulation of 17,000 on weekdays and 55,000 on Saturdays according to 2023 figures. The publication maintains correspondent bureaus in Berlin, Paris, Warsaw, Rome, and Moscow, and operates with approximately 80 staff members. Lietuvos Rytas publishes magazines including Stilius and Stilius Plius, and sponsors Lithuania’s annual Woman of the Year awards. The newspaper has operated its own printing facilities since 1994 and launched its online presence at lrytas.lt in 1997, maintaining both print and digital operations throughout Lithuania’s media landscape.

China International Television Corporation

China International Television Corporation (中國國際電視總公司), or CITVC, founded in 1984, is a state-owned media company funded by China Central Television (CCTV) that handles international sales and distribution of Chinese television content. Following asset reorganization in 1997, the corporation expanded into a diversified media conglomerate with operations spanning program production, distribution, advertising, audience research, and technical services. The company, now under the umbrella of the Central Propaganda Department-administered China Media Group (CMG), markets CCTV’s content internationally and distributes 33 foreign satellite channels from the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and other countries across China. 

Government of Peru

The Government of Peru (Gobierno de la República del Perú) is a unitary presidential republic whose current institutional framework was established by the Constitution of 1993. The president serves as head of state, head of government, and commander-in-chief, elected to a five-year term with consecutive re-election prohibited, and appoints a prime minister and Council of Ministers. The unicameral Congress holds 130 members elected for five-year terms, with powers including ratifying treaties and approving the national budget. The judicial branch is headed by a 16-member Supreme Court, with superior and provincial courts below it. Voting is compulsory for citizens between ages 18 and 70.

Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province

The Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province is the government agency responsible for overseeing cultural affairs and tourism development across southern Guangdong Province. It operates under the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government and serves as the primary authority for shaping cultural policy, preserving heritage, and promoting tourism, both domestically and internationally. It has been actively engaged on international communication, partnering with the province’s international communication center (ICC).

Telefe

Telefe is a Buenos Aires-based broadcast network founded in 1961 that is owned by the American media conglomerate Paramount Global. The channel produces Spanish-language programming, including telenovelas, news, and entertainment shows. Telefe also operates Telefe Internacional, a pay TV channel distributed to more than eight million subscribers in more than 20 countries. The network also offers streaming content through its digital platform, Mi Telefe.

Economic Daily

The Economic Daily (經濟日報), founded in January 1983, is a Chinese state-owned financial and business newspaper published by the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (中國共產黨中央委員會). According to its official website, the publication operates under direct Party supervision to communicate official economic policy and narratives. The newspaper focuses on economic development, financial markets, and industrial policy, serving as a key platform for disseminating the Party’s economic directives and perspectives. The Economic Daily also operates China Economic Net, an online portal launched in 2003, which extends coverage to international economics, technology, and lifestyle content alongside traditional financial reporting.

Saudi Ministry of Media

The Saudi Ministry of Media is the government body responsible for overseeing media policy, regulation, and development in Saudi Arabia. The ministry promotes the kingdom’s media sector as part of Vision 2030, positioning Saudi Arabia as a regional media hub. The ministry organizes major events including the annual Saudi Media Forum and has prioritized artificial intelligence integration in media production. However, the ministry functions as what critics have characterized as the “main agent of censorship” in the kingdom, with a special publications department that analyzes all media content and issues directives to newspapers and magazines on how topics must be covered. Censorship extends even to works by former ministers themselves. Through its regulatory activities, the ministry seeks to control information flows while expanding Saudi influence in regional and global media landscapes.

Khovar News Agency

Khovar News Agency, officially known as the National Information Agency of Tajikistan, was established on December 31, 1925, during the period of the Tajik Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. The agency functions as Tajikistan’s state news agency, publishing content in Tajik, Russian, English, Arabic, and Persian languages. On April 30, 2004, a governmental decree designated Khovar as the central state information body with official authorization to collect and distribute information about the president, Supreme Assembly, and government activities. The agency also operates Radio Khovar FM, which started broadcasting in 2011.
