ACJA Delegation Visits Nouvelles d’Europe in Paris
On July 20, 2026, a Chinese journalists’ delegation headed by Zhang Chunjiao (張春校), vice chair of the official All-China Journalists Association (中華全國新聞工作者協會), or ACJA, a Chinese Communist Party-led professional association that serves a key role in implementing press control policies, visited the Paris-area offices of Nouvelles d’Europe (歐洲時報), according to the newspaper’s own report. Nouvelles d’Europe is a French-based Chinese-language newspaper with ties to the state-run China News Service and the CCP’s United Front Work Department. Zhong Cheng (鍾誠), president of the Nouvelles d’Europe Culture and Media Group, and Xie Tian (謝添), the newspaper’s executive vice president, received the delegation. The delegation toured the newspaper’s cultural center and its Chinese-language school. They then joined a roundtable with representatives of France-based news organizations and Chinese-language media, at which Zhong presented the newspaper’s operations. At the end of the visit, both sides pledged to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation.
