China Communications Construction Company

China Communications Construction Company (中國交通建設股份有限公司), or CCCC, is a Chinese state-controlled infrastructure conglomerate headquartered in Beijing. According to corporate registry records, it was established on October 8, 2006, when its parent, China Communications Construction Group, wholly founded it as a joint-stock company following State Council approval, and it listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that December, becoming the first Chinese state-owned infrastructure enterprise to complete an overseas listing as a whole entity; it later added a Shanghai Stock Exchange listing in March 2012. CCCC’s stated core businesses include port, waterway, road, and bridge construction and general contracting, dredging, and marine engineering equipment manufacturing. The company describes itself as China’s largest international engineering contractor and one of the world’s largest dredging companies, with subsidiaries including China Road and Bridge Corporation (中國路橋工程有限責任公司), which operates CCCC’s overseas project offices, including in Kyrgyzstan.
