Founded in September 2011, Kigali Today Ltd. is a private Rwandan media company. It runs the news site Kigali Today, published in Kinyarwanda, Rwanda’s national language, as well as the English-language outlet KT Press, a YouTube channel and KT Radio 96.7 FM. KT Radio began as an online station and now covers most of Rwanda’s territory. That makes it one of only three stations with near-national reach, alongside the state broadcaster and the Catholic-funded Radio Maria, according to the company. In 2026, a Kigali Today journalist joined a China tour hosted by the All-China Journalists Association (中華全國新聞工作者協會) and the Chinese Embassy in Rwanda. She described the trip as part of a long-standing partnership between the company and the embassy.
