The Nanning Media Convergence Center (南寧市融媒體中心) is a municipal-level media hub under the management of the propaganda office of the Nanning Municipal Party Committee. Established in May 2024 alongside the city’s international communication center (南寧國際傳播中心), it is part of Xi Jinping’s push for “media convergence” (媒體融合), which calls for the integration of traditional and digital Party-state media as a means to maximize resources and maintain the Party’s narrative dominance across mediums. The center was formed through the integration of the Nanning Daily Press (南寧日報社) and the Nanning Radio and Television Station (南寧廣播電視台), and claims to have more than 26 million users across its newspapers, radio, television, social media, and web services. A 2025 recruitment notice posted on the Center’s Nanning News Net (南寧新聞網) indicated that it was looking for editors and anchors with Thai, Vietnamese, and English skills to publish content on overseas social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. The center’s domestic media initiatives have included a short video series titled [Yong You Li Xiang](https://jxpub.nntv.cn/lilun/page1.html)_ (邕有理響), which  introduces technological and societal development in Nanning.
