Xi Jinping Pens Op-Ed for Tajikistan State Media

The article outlined five points for deepening China-Tajik relations in areas from “people-to-people exchanges” to top-down governance and border security enforcement. Xi’s proposals were broadcast across Chinese government websites and circulated by official news outlets including [Xinhua](https://regional.chinadaily.com.cn/gnfccru/2024-07/05/c1002506.htm) (新華社), People’s Daily (人民日報), and the international-facing China Global Television Network (中國環球電視網). The article was published on the same day that People’s Daily, the official “[mouthpiece](https://chinamediaproject.org/theccp_dictionary/mouthpiece/)” of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, signed an MOU with Khovar News Agency to deepen cooperation in areas like content sharing and talent exchanges.
