On July 8, 2025, Xinhua President Fu Hua (傅華) met with Singapore Press Holdings Media’s (SPH Media) CEO Chan Yeng Ying Jie (陳延吉) in Beijing, where both leaders committed to “jointly telling stories of their countries’ development and people-to-people friendship” while enhancing cooperation in news reporting, artificial intelligence, and other technological fields.
