Canal N

Canal N is a Peruvian pay-television news channel founded on July 4, 1999, and headquartered in Lima, as part of the El Comercio media group. It was Peru’s first 24-hour cable news channel, with programming focused on current affairs and political coverage. The channel was created under journalist Gilberto Hume and was instrumental in the fall of President Alberto Fujimori, who ruled from 1990 to 2000 and was later convicted of human rights abuses and corruption. In 2021, the channel drew criticism after journalists were forced out for refusing to produce coverage favorable to Keiko Fujimori’s presidential campaign.

Thai Public Broadcasting Service

Thai Public Broadcasting Service (泰國公共電視台), or Thai PBS, is a public broadcasting service in Thailand established by the Thai Public Broadcasting Service Act on January 15, 2008. Thai PBS operates as a state agency with legal personality but is not classified as a government agency or state enterprise. The broadcaster operates television and radio services, with its main channel broadcasting in high definition on digital Channel 3. Thai PBS evolved from the privately run iTV station, which later became TITV before transforming into the current public broadcaster. The service broadcasts primarily in Thai, with some English-language programming, and reaches audiences throughout Thailand and neighboring border regions in Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. Thai PBS is managed by director-general Wilasinee Pipitkul.

The Wall Street Journal

Founded in 1889, The Wall Street Journal is an American newspaper based in the financial district of Wall Street in New York City. Now published under Dow Jones & Company, a division of the Murdoch-owned News Corp, the paper has more than 600,000 print subscribers, and one of the country’s largest digital subscription bases, at more than three million. The precursor to the current newspaper was the Kiernan News Agency created in 1869 by John J. Kiernan, who started out as a Western Union messenger boy. Kiernan’s hiring of young reporters Charles H. Dow and Edward D. Jones soon resulted in the launch of a news service, Dow Jones & Company. 

Lietuvos Rytas

Lietuvos Rytas is Lithuania’s largest daily newspaper by circulation and readership, established January 1, 1990, replacing the Soviet-era publication Komjaunimo Tiesa (Youth Truth). The name translates to “Morning of Lithuania.” Headquartered in Vilnius, the newspaper claims to serve as Lithuania’s leading source of national and international news, with a circulation of 17,000 on weekdays and 55,000 on Saturdays according to 2023 figures. The publication maintains correspondent bureaus in Berlin, Paris, Warsaw, Rome, and Moscow, and operates with approximately 80 staff members. Lietuvos Rytas publishes magazines including Stilius and Stilius Plius, and sponsors Lithuania’s annual Woman of the Year awards. The newspaper has operated its own printing facilities since 1994 and launched its online presence at lrytas.lt in 1997, maintaining both print and digital operations throughout Lithuania’s media landscape.

Telefe

Telefe is a Buenos Aires-based broadcast network founded in 1961 that is owned by the American media conglomerate Paramount Global. The channel produces Spanish-language programming, including telenovelas, news, and entertainment shows. Telefe also operates Telefe Internacional, a pay TV channel distributed to more than eight million subscribers in more than 20 countries. The network also offers streaming content through its digital platform, Mi Telefe.

Uryadovy Kuryer

Uryadovy Kuryer, or “Government Courier,” is the official newspaper of Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers, published since October 1990. A state-owned enterprise publishing in Ukrainian five times weekly, it serves as the primary outlet for government decrees, laws, and presidential activities. Initially edited by Mykhailo Soroka and now by Sergii Braga (Сергій Брага), the paper is consistently ranked among Ukraine’s top three newspapers. As an official government publication, it publishes legally binding texts including Cabinet resolutions and parliamentary laws. The paper, according to the description on its website, is relied upon by international agencies like Reuters and Bloomberg.

Parlamentní Listy

Parlamentní Listy (议会报) is a Czech online news and commentary portal established in 2008, operated since 2023 by NAŠE MÉDIA a.s. and headquartered in Prague. The publication positions itself as a discussion, news and commentary platform but has been described by critics as a disinformation medium with no institutional connection to the Czech Parliament despite its name. According to organizational listings, leadership has included Jan Holoubek as director and Marek Bláha as editor-in-chief. The platform claims to provide elected representatives with individual profiles to publish views without editorial intervention and describes its journalistic section as supplementary. Critics have accused the publication of spreading pro-Russian propaganda and manipulative content, while supporters describe it as providing alternative perspectives in contrast to mainstream media coverage.

Svenska Dagbladet

Svenska Dagbladet (SvD) is a Swedish daily newspaper founded on December 18, 1884, in Stockholm. Originally acquired by Norwegian media company Schibsted in 1998, SvD became part of Schibsted Media Group after Schibsted’s news operations were transferred in 2024 to the Tinius Trust, which manages the Schibsted shares in SvD. Svenska Dagbladet covers politics, economics, and business, and also features commentary and opinion journalism — including cultural reviews under its “SvD Kultur” section and public affairs debate under “SvD Debatt.”

Schibsted Media Group

The Schibsted Media Group is a Norwegian media company founded in 1839 in Oslo, Norway. Originally a publishing house, it has developed into one of the largest media groups in the Nordic region, with operations spanning newspapers, online classifieds, and digital services across multiple countries. In 2024, the company split its media operations into a separate foundation-owned entity, Schibsted Media Group, while the marketplaces arm — now Vend Marketplaces ASA — remains listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. In February 2025, Schibsted Media Group announced a partnership with OpenAI to integrate content from these publications into OpenAI’s products, including ChatGPT, delivering news summaries with attribution to Schibsted’s brands.
